Welcome to my world of portrait photography!

I’m Paula Carter, and my journey into photography began four years ago while being a full-time stay-at-home mom. I’ve always been deeply passionate about photography and finally made the leap to buy my first (professional) camera back in 2020. Wow, was I in love! I filled every spare minute reading, watching videos/tutorials, joining local classes, enlisted a mentor, and taking every opportunity to photograph what I could. Over these past 4 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible clients and capturing moments that truly matter. My approach is all about being transparent and straightforward, ensuring each session is unique and memorable while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me enjoying time with my amazing family of six, including my fiancé and high school sweetheart, Alex, and our four little ones. We absolutely love the outdoors, finding new things to explore, and large family events. I’m honored to be a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and to have obtained a professional photographer certification through PPA.

I believe life should be full of core memories. That’s why I’m dedicated to capturing them as often as possible, helping us relive those amazing moments time and time again. Through my sessions, I truly hope to spread happiness and provide a place of comfort.
